The organizer, Gwen Kaiser-Anderson, conceived the idea in 2020 to express gratitude to our first responders. She gathered a group of individuals, leading to the inaugural local benefit dinner for these heroes. Gwen approached Tahnee and Maria, who became the original organizers of the event. Their goal was to thank all those who worked tirelessly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The initiative has since evolved into an actual organization named First Responders Appreciation Night, Inc., located at 333 13th Avenue North, Casselton, ND 58102. The organizing team includes: Gwen Kaiser-Anderson (President), Amy Dooley (Secretary/Treasurer), Tahnee Young (Fundraising Coordinator), Maria Young (Chairperson), Adrian Kieffer (Chairperson), and Dale Sather (Chairperson). Each member dedicates countless hours each year to ensure the success of this endeavor.
